【Ready For Ship】DokiDoki-SR Game Genshin Impact Cosplay Navia Costume Fontaine

Okay first off this is one of my first cosplays and I was really excited for it the whole time. When it came I tried it on (took XL because I wasn't so sure about it being too tight if I chose L) and the fabric felt awesome and super comfortable and even tho I was a little frustrated with putting everything on alone yet I still managed to do it just fine even after an hour. Everything came in a very good condition and nothing broke on the way :) Would really recommend this

For context, I live in Australia, I'm about 173cm tall, and I ordered the medium size for this cosplay. The stitching is awesome, I really love the colors and the design. I bought the dress, the shoes, the hat, and the sunglasses. I honestly found it quite comfortable. I haven't tried sitting down in it yet, but it's easy to walk around (at least on flat ground). This is the first cosplay I've ever bought, and I was really happy with everything overall!!

Overall comments:
Shipping time: I ordered this at night on August 19th (a Tuesday), and it arrived on the 1st of September (a Monday), meaning it took about two weeks to get to me.

Assembling - With the help of the video I was able to piece together what parts went where with relative ease. It's a little difficult to do on your own (particularly the inner poofy layer of the skirt), but I managed.

Skirt length - the white skirt was wayyyy too short for me to feel super comfortable in, even with the pants underneath. I'm planning to fix it by putting a slightly longer white skirt underneath, as I'm not talented enough at sewing to add length to the skirt.

Corset/top thing - in all honesty the top is a little bit loose on me, and I think I'm going to see if there's a way I can tighten it somewhat. It wouldn't be too much of a problem if I was just taking pictures, but I do have to pull it up a little bit just to feel more secure (I'm not much of a revealing-top-wearing kind of girl). If I was buying this cosplay to dance in or something like that I would definitely try to get the breast size as accurately as possible because it is definitely a little loose for my chest.
Also, not to get too picky on the top but it could definitely use some more structural design, as it's only made of fabric and therefore doesn't shape or structure very well. If you've got a corset to wear underneath, that would work well.

Arm/leg accessories - some of the elastics feel a little tight, particularly the one that goes on the wrist that also has a zipper on it. Speaking of the zipper, it undoes itself from the opposite end with just a slight tug, so it's possible it could be very easily damaged.

Fabric/itchiness - while the stitching on the top is a little scratchy at times, I didn't find it unbearable, and as I said earlier I was very comfortable while I was wearing the cosplay. (That might change if I walked around a lot at a convention and maybe got a bit hot and sweat a bit.)

Ornamentation - the ornaments are all pretty well made! I was looking through the reviews before I decided to buy it myself, and I saw some other people commenting on how the ornaments fell off easily. I can't say I've tried running or anything like that while wearing the cosplay, but just from walking around the room (and doing two small jumps) nothing fell off. One time when I leaned down a piece from the necklace fell off, but it had a clasp and I was able to attach it back easily.

Hat - the hat was a little mishapen in the center from transport, but I've pushed it more or less back into shape. It's the bit where my head goes, anyway, so it's not visible. I'm sure if I wear it a few times it will bend itself back to normal, and it fits comfortably. The feather that goes on it arrived in perfect shape.

Shoes - I'm going to be honest, I'm not used to wearing high heels, so it was a bit weird to try to step into them at first. I feel the ones I got were just a touch small, as I can feel the top of my feet digging in a tiny bit, but from the ten ish minutes I was wearing them they were otherwise pretty comfortable. I'd say maybe aim a bit bigger? Because they're quite form fitting. Especially if the top of your foot is very tall, or if your littler toes (the ones further away from the big toe) are a bit long. My feet curve back pretty significantly between my big toe and pinky toe, and I can still feel the edge of the shoe with my pinky pretty clearly.

I have pretty awful posture and a very awful phone camera, but I've attached two photos for a general idea.

I think that's pretty much everything! I'm going to be wearing this cosplay to my formal dance and possibly to a convention this month, so if anything else happens I will leave another review as an update.

Great quality, some small details arrived broken but they were genuinely such easy fixes. I got an M which made the top a bit too large on me but for the rest everything is great.

I have a LOT of doki cosplays. Most SR, a few SSR, some R. THIS one is my favourite out of them all.

The details are incredible and it was so easy to put on and take off alone. There's a LOT of accessories, but 90% of them can be put on before you ever put on the costume. I have a dress form that I put the costume on and just prepped everything that way.

The sizing is perfect the fabrics aren't annoying, the accessories stayed on and the HAT. It's the most beautiful part of this costume. It's amazing. I love it. The quality is so absolutely stellar.

My ONE issue is just a personal preference. With costumes like these I wish they put some boning into the torso. It's all fabric and has NO shape. Zero. It's taking the shape of whatever is underneath it good or bad. I wore a corset underneath (as I do with 99% of my cosplays because it low key tricks my brain into not having shrimp posture all day) and it was the best decision. I feel like I would have been uncomfy without it. I also wore it without the clear elastics that are supposed to hold it up, mainly because I hate them (personal preference). I wore one hell of a push up bra and tucked the straps of it into its self to hide them and then pinned the top of the cups to the bodice to keep it from going anywhere.

I got the full set (SR costume, shoes and wig). Even the wig was great. I wore it right out of the bag because I didn't have the energy to style anything before the con and it still held up just fine. Shoes were on for a full day and had minimal pain. It needed minimal ironing/steaming. It was such an overall pleasant right-out-of-the-bag experience.
